Free Waiheke Scrap Metal Tipping

Help Waiheke clubs and schools raise money. Donate scrap metal at
38 Tahi Road

Why Are We Donating Metal To Schools & Clubs?

Clean Island is part of the Waiheke Island community. We saw this as a great way to give back while enabling people to donate metal for free.

We started this in 2023, raising $5,500 for Waiheke Primary school over the course of two months. When we got the new yard space at 38 Tahi rd, Waiheke, we decided to make it a permanent addition.

What Do We Take?

We have bins for standard metal items like bbqs and roofing. Then there are bags for aluminium, electric wire/pumps, and stainless.

What Don't We Take?

Please don't drop fridges, vehicles, gas bottles or oil/chemical containers.

Items need to be 90% metal. So a bike with tyres is OK.

When Are We Open?

Generally gates are open from 8am to 3pm Monday to Saturday. If in doubt call us on 0201001001 and we will confirm for you.
